Ohio Irish Lutheran Press (OIL Press) was founded by James W. O'Flannery in 2011, when his first book
The Adventures of Richard McMurphy was published on August 11, 2011. OIL Press is a self-publishing company, which focuses on the interests of our Founder and President James W. O'Flannery. OIL Press promotes Lutheran Christianity, Celtic and Germanic heritage, and traditional American values. OIL Press publishes and sells romance novels and history books.
James W. O'Flannery is a 2010 graduate of Lima Shawnee High School and a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Ancient and Classical History at American Military University. James is mostly ethnically Irish, German, Jewish, and Welsh. He is a confessional Lutheran Christian and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Lima, Ohio. He plans on publishing books for the rest of his life through OIL Press.
