Advent Greetings from James W. O'Flannery; Founder and President of Ohio Irish Lutheran Press (OIL Press)! I would like to start my first blog post by talking about the importance of Advent. After I talk about Advent, I shall talk about some of OIL Press' current and future books. Advent 2016 starts this week on Sunday November 27, 2016. During Advent we celebrate Jesus' coming into the world as a Baby and we look forward to celebrating the Virgin Birth of Jesus on Christmas Day. Hey everyone! My webmaster, Matthew Ayers, is in the process of remodeling and revamping my publishing company's website. I will be transferring all of the old blog posts from the old version of ohioirishlutheranpress.com to the new version over the next few weeks.
