Lima St. Patrick's Day Parade: March 10, 2017

Hello everyone! Please join us at noon on Saturday March 11, 2017 for some good old fashioned Irish fun, as we celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland during our St. Patrick's Day Parade in Lima, Ohio on Main Street. We will have a unit in the parade to promote James W. O'Flannery's latest book The Rising of The Moon Book I Changing Tides Part I. Hopefully this book will be available on here as a paperback by Annunciation Day 2017.

Inspiration: February 9, 2017

Many things can inspire a person to write books; the Holy Spirit, Holy Scripture, life experiences, historical events, the news, and many other things. Books, which are written by James W. O'Flannery, are inspired by all of those things. Many of the events in James' novels are based off of events in his own life. The Adventures of Richard McMurphy is loosely based of James' junior year of high school. Richard McMurphy is based off of James W. O'Flannery. Updates and Second Week of Advent: St. John the Baptist: December 4, 2016

Hello again! Here is James W. O'Flannery, Founder and President of Ohio Irish Lutheran Press, again with another blog post. We have three things to discuss; 1. my transient vendor's license, 2. waiting on the printers, and 3. St. John the Baptist. These are all very important topics, but St. John the Baptist is the most important topic for this discussion, so we'll save the best for last. I just recently applied for my transient vendor's license. I need this license, so I can legally sell my books and eventually other products on this website. I can get into serious trouble with the State of Ohio for selling my books and eventually other products without this license, so we're stuck...

First Blog Post and First Week of Advent: November 27, 2016

Advent Greetings from James W. O'Flannery; Founder and President of Ohio Irish Lutheran Press (OIL Press)! I would like to start my first blog post by talking about the importance of Advent.
