Donald Trump Reflections: "Should Christians support Donald Trump in 2020?" is the big question for American Christians to ask themselves, since we have a big election coming up on November 3, 2020. The short answer to that question is, "Yes, we as American Christians should support Donald Trump in 2020." In this blog post, we shall look at ten reasons, why American Christians should support President Donald Trump and not former-Vice President Joe Biden. These reasons should be pretty obvious, but we shall dive into all of them here.
Ten Reasons for Christians to Support Donald Trump in 2020:
1. Christianity:
- Donald Trump (R) has been the most Christian President, since my distant cousin, Ronald Reagan, was in The White House. Donald Trump self-identifies as a Presbyterian and he has attended several Reformed-based Christian congregations over the years. The Trump Family was historically Lutheran from the time of the Christian Reformation in Europe, until Donald Trump's late father, Fred Trump, married Donald Trump's late mother, Mary Anne MacLeod-Trump. Fred Trump was a German Lutheran in America and Mary Anne MacLeod was a Scottish Presbyterian from Scotland. Donald Trump came out swinging hard with his support of Christians around the world in his 2016 Presidential Campaign and he has stood by us ever since. Donald Trump is good friends with both the Reverend Doctor Matthew Harrison, who is the President of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), and Jerry Falwell Jr., who is an Evangelical leader, son of the late Jerry Falwell Sr., and the former President of Liberty University, where my grandfather, Larry Smith, who is the Third Elder of Garden City Christian Union Church in Lima, Ohio, graduated from with an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies.
- Joe Biden (D) claims to be Roman Catholic and yet he undermines the very Christian church-body, which he claims to love and support. Joe Biden supported the un-Constitutional disaster known as "Obama Care." Obama Care almost landed Reverend Harrison in jail along with a Roman Catholic bishop, two Baptist theologians, and a Jewish Rabbi, because they stood up to President Barack Obama (D), who is also a distant cousin of mine, against Obama Care. Obama Care mandated, that all organizations including churches and other religious organizations pay for abortion. My friend, Representative Jim Jordan (R) of Ohio, and Trey Gowdy, who is former Republican Representative from South Carolina, stood up for Reverend Harrison and his companions at a House Hearing on Obama Care and Religious Liberties. Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit gave Christians a great victory, when Donald Trump was elected and when Donald Trump signed the repeal of Obama Care.
2. Abortion:
- Donald Trump is the most Pro-Life President in American History since my distant cousin, Ronald Reagan. Yes, Donald Trump used to be Pro-Choice, until he learned of the evils of abortion and the Holy Spirit laid it on his heart, that "Abortion is both murder and a sin," as both my former pastor, Reverend Mike Hughes formerly of St. Luke's Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Lima, Ohio and currently of St. John's Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Stoney Ridge, Ohio, and I both have said, after the Holy Spirit laid it on our hearts to both independently make that statement. Abortion is not only murder and a sin, but it is also pure barbarism. Abortion clinics hack babies into pieces and precious American lives are lost. Planned Parenthood sells aborted baby body parts for big bucks. Those aborted babies are American citizens and their memories must be honored. We must reelect Donald Trump and we must push for abortion to be permanently outlawed in America.
- Joe Biden is proudly Pro-Choice and not proudly Pro-Life like Donald Trump. The Roman Catholic Church teaches the same thing, that Reverend Hughes and I teach along with all true Lutheran pastors and true Lutheran lay leaders, that "Abortion is both murder and a sin!" Donald Trump, Reverend Harrison, Reverend Hughes, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), and all true Christians oppose abortion. If Joe Biden is a true Christian and a true Roman Catholic, then why does he not stand with his Christian church-body? Joe Biden is a fake Catholic and a fake Christian and I stand with all Roman Catholic clergy, who deny Joe Biden Holy Communion. The Roman Catholic clergy, who deny Joe Biden Holy Communion, are actually doing him a great service, because, if Joe Biden would take Holy Communion being Pro-Choice, like he is, then he would be guilty of Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Joe Biden was saved in the waters of Holy Baptism like Donald Trump and all true Christians, but Joe Biden lost his Salvation by becoming Pro-Choice. Joe Biden better repent or he will not dwell in Heaven with Yahweh and Jesus during his afterlife, rather he will dwell in Hell with all of the other lost and condemned sinners. Donald Trump is both a sinner and a saint, as Martin Luther rightfully taught, but Joe Biden is just a sinner on his way to Hell.
3. Taxes:
- Donald Trump has no desire to raise your taxes, but Joe Biden wants to raise them by $4 trillion dollars during the Corona Virus Pandemic and during an economy, which is half boom-times and half-recession. What is wrong is with Joe Biden on taxes? Joe Biden has "yoked his wagon" to the radical and insane Far-Left like crazy Democratic-Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, crazy New Green Deal Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who "shacks up" with some white dude in New York City, and others. Now Jesus did mandate, that Christians pay both their tithes to God and their taxes to the government, but He was not talking about $4 trillion in new taxes.
4. Civil Liberties and Cancel Culture:
- Donald Trump actually cares more about the American people's civil liberties than any other President, except for George Washington. Donald Trump wants you to have the freedom to make your own decisions and not have you be chained to the government. Donald Trump wants you to have the freedom to express yourself in verbal words, printed words, and various forms of artwork. The cancel culture is an extremely dangerous element in the Democrat Party, because there is absolutely no forgiveness of past sins and grievances, as my friend, Reverend George Borghardt of Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Bossier City Louisiana, has pointed out. Joe Biden is enslaved to the Radical Left and they are calling on people to get fired, because they do not back and fit into the Radical Left's standards of tyranny. President Thomas Jefferson (D-R) said, "When the government fears the people, we have freedom, but, when the people fear the government, we have tyranny." The Radical Left's tyranny and the Deep State's tyranny have the average American scared to death. Many of us fear, that the Radical Left and the Deep State want to throw us, Christians, Republicans, Libertarians, Pro-Trump Democrats, and pretty much everyone else, who wants America to continue to be a free country, into Nazi-style concentration camps called FEMA Detention Centers. Bernie Sanders' Presidential Campaign was actually planning to put Americans into "re-education camps."
5. The Communist Republic of China:
- Donald Trump has been standing up to the Communist Republic of China. The Communist Republic of China is an oppressive country to live in. The Chinese people living in America today, whose ancestors did not immigrate here, before the rise of the Communist Party in China, fled to the United States of America and other free countries to escape the the tyranny of the Communist Party in China. The Communist Party of China has been an enemy of the United States and other free countries for decades and they have been taking advantage of us and other free countries for decades. President Bill Clinton (D) signed NATA and other job-killing agreements into law and the Communist Republic of China has benefited greatly from these evils. President Donald Trump (R) was elected to put a stop to these evils and to bring American manufacturing jobs back to America.
- Joe Biden (D) has "sold" American manufacturing workers "down the river." Joe Biden claims, that he loves and cares about American manufacturing workers and that has been fighting for them, but has he really? No, he has not. Joe Biden has been undermining American manufacturing workers for decades by sending jobs to China, Mexico, and other countries around the world. As a Senator, Joe Biden voted for NATA and other job-killing bills. He does not care about your vocations and he will be happy to make you change vocations to fit his Radical Left agenda. His son, Hunter Biden, has been paid a fortune by China to ship more jobs over there. Joe and Hunter Biden not only undermine our manufacturing jobs, but they also undermine fossil fuel jobs and Holy Baptism. They undermine fossil fuel jobs by promoting the New Green Deal and wanting to eliminate fossil fuels from our energy sector. Joe Biden even said, that coal miners can go get coding jobs, after he shuts down all of the coal mines. People's vocations come from Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, because They call people to their life's work. Joe Biden and Hunter basically both give Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit the middle finger, when they bad mouth fossil fuel jobs, they sell American jobs to China, and they demand, that people change their vocations to "fall-line" with the Radical Left's agenda.
6. Corona Virus:
- Donald Trump has faced many challenges to his Presidency and Administration by the Deep State, the Democrats in both Houses of Congress, the rich Nazi war criminal called George Soros, and the world-wide Left in general, but the Communist Government and Communist Party in China created Trump's greatest challenge: the Corona Virus. The Corona Virus has other names as well: Covid-19, Coronavirus, Communist Chinese Party Virus, the Wuhan Flu, the Chinese Flu, the Chinese Virus, and the Virus. Democrats and the Deep State have tried anything and everything to get rid of Donald Trump from investigations of Russian interference to prostitutes and an unsuccessful impeachment among other things, but the Corona Virus is the Democrat's best chance of getting rid of Trump. If the Corona Virus does not do Donald Trump in either by his personal death from the disease itself or enough American voters voting for Joe Biden, then the Deep State and the Democrats will try to have him assassinated; more on that later.
- Let me be be 100% clear and honest with you; the Corona is a real disease and I had it back during Advent 2019. I was sick for two weeks and I had most of the growing list of Corona Virus symptoms. I was working and going to Sunday School, Mass, and Bible Study at Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Lima, Ohio and I social distanced, before social distancing was cool or even a term. I was never that sick before in my life and it felt, like I had three things "one right after another." You might ask, "James, why are you still alive after having the Corona Virus?" "Did you go to the hospital, James?" First let me say, that I did not seek medical attention, while I had this disease, which I knew nothing about. Second I was only 28 years old, I'm in overall good health, and I drank a lot of hot tea with honey, chocolate nutritional shakes from Walmart, and whiskey mixed drink with honey and lemon juice during my two week experience with the Corona Virus. I worshipped Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and I put up Christmas Trees at Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Lima, Ohio at the Allen County Museum in Lima, Ohio during the first two weeks of Advent 2019. Even though I'm in overall good health, I haven't felt normal since my last book signing on Small Business Saturday 2019 at the Bluffton Holiday Showcase. For those of you, who have no idea, what I just said, I haven't been normal, since I had a book signing at a Christmas-themed craft and vendor show the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Bluffton, Ohio. I have to be extremely careful with my acid-reflux disease, because any food, which I did not eat, before I had the Corona Virus, can give me really bad heartburn. Luckily for me and praise be to Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, I can still eat the popular Chinese dish called General Tso's Chicken and it can be very spicy. This is good news for both me and my favorite restaurant called China Buffet in Lima, Ohio, because I love General Tso's Chicken at China Buffet and in general. China Buffet is my favorite place to take girls on dates and to share a meal with my cousin Jordan Coulter, who is the Store Director of the Northland Chief Supermarket in Lima, Ohio and who will hopefully sell Boot's BBQ bone-in chicken wings and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches at the 2020 Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show on Saturday October 31, 2020 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
- Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats opposed Donald Trump's travel ban from China and other Corona Virus hot spots. Biden and the Democrats called Trump racist against the Chinese, but Trump's travel ban had nothing to do with race. Donald Trump also issued travel bans against historically white countries like Italy and the United Kingdom. Trump is not a racist, rather he was smart enough to stop travel to-and-from China and to attempt to stop a disease, which has killed a lot of people particularly Africans and Asians. Granted there have been Europeans living both in Europe and America, who have died of the Corona Virus. We morn the loss of all people, who have died of the Corona Virus and other causes of death. However, I personally feel, that Africans and Asians have been hit harder by the Corona Virus than most Europeans, because Europeans have been hit by pandemics before; i.e. the Bubonic Plague and Small Pox. Europeans are not racially, culturally, or biologically superior to Africans and Asians, but this isn't "our first rodeo" so-to-speak. Even though the Bubonic Plague and Small Pox were absolutely terrible pandemics, Europeans were just better prepared for the Corona Virus than Africans and Asians. We as Europeans have "been there done that." It is a blessing, that Africans and Asians were spared the Bubonic Plague for centuries, but now it is spreading in China. Biden and the Democrats are not on our side, rather they would rather side with the brutal Communists in China, who oppress their people in China and who treat the average Chinese people like slaves. If it is the Will of Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, then I will take a wife from China or at least of some kind of Asian decent. If I had a wife from China, then marrying me would be the second best thing to ever happen to her. The very best thing would be her experiencing the waters of Holy Baptism.
- Joe Biden failed us with the Swine Flu, when he was Vice President, but now he wants to lecture us about Trump not protecting us from the Corona Virus. Donald Trump is our greatest President, because he has done everything, he could, to protect us from the Corona Virus, he has strove to protect our Constitutional Rights during these strange times, and he has led the greatest economic recovery since World War II. Biden wants to lock everyone up in their houses and delay the creation and production of a safe and effective vaccine for the Corona Virus. It is not Donald Trump's fault, that I had the Corona Virus in early December 2019 or any American's fault, because the Corona Virus basically snuck into our country "under our noses." Speaker of the House, Nancy Polosi (D), foolishly will not allow a vote on a second Corona Virus Relief Bill, even though President Trump and Senator Mitch McConnell keep begging her to put the American people ahead of interests of the Radical Left. Nancy Polosi needs to allow a vote on a second Corona Virus Relief Bill, so we can get a second round of Corona Virus Stimulus Checks. President Xi of China needs to stop oppressing his own people and he needs to give ALL Corona Virus survivors checks as an apology for having his Communist scientists manipulate an otherwise minor virus. The Corona Virus is a pandemic, because the Communist Government of China wanted to use the Corona Virus as something else to use to oppress the people of China and to spread panic, death, and mayhem to the rest of the world. It is legal to vote in-person and at the polls in the State of Ohio without a face mask or other facial covering.
7. America:
- Let me be clear: there is only one person running for President in 2020, who loves America, and his name is Donald Trump. President is the only pro-America candidate running for President of the United States of America. Donald Trump has stood up for America since day one and he will continue to stand up for us. Donald Trump must be reelected President of the United States, because Joe Biden and the Radical Left absolutely will destroy America. George Soros' rioters are burning down American homes, churches, and businesses, and George Soros is the evil, rich Nazi-war criminal, who funded Barack Obama's, Hillary Clinton's, and John Kasich's Presidential Campaigns.
8. Mental Fitness:
- Donald Trump is of sound mind, but Joe Biden has dementia really bad. Joe Biden would probably be removed from office by Speaker of the House Nancy Polosi, if he would somehow be elected and if Donald Trump would be "sent packing."
9. The Peaceful Protest vs. The Riots:
- The Radical Left in the United States of America is dangerous, because they are not afraid to kill people to get, what they want. Bill and Hillary Clinton have been doing that for years. The Radical Left has been rioting and burning down churches, houses, and businesses for month. Rioters have even showed up at Senator Mitch McConnell's house and Senator Lindsay Graham's house for three simple reasons: 1. Both McConnell and Graham are great American Patriots, 2. They support Donald Trump, and 3. They're Republicans. Donald Trump is the only candidate running for President, who is stands behind our great law enforcement officers 100%. Donald Trump wants to get rid of the dirty cops like the barbarians, who murdered George Floyd. African Americans have every right to feel angry and betrayed by George Floyd's murder. George Floyd was an African American man, who was struggling with addiction to drugs. This is most unfortunate, but he did not need to be murdered by dirty cops, who make good law enforcement officers look bad. African Americans and all Americans have the right to protest anything, which they disagree with, but they do not have the right to riot, loot, and burn down buildings. Just say, what you feel, you need to say. Get it off your chest and go home. Go back to your vocations, your families, and your friends, once your done. Pray for peaceful resolutions to problems and love your neighbors, even though this is hard.
10. Jewish Issues:
- Jewish issues is a a very loaded and weighty subject. I am ethnically Jewish and religiously Lutheran. Being Jewish is mostly an ethnic thing for me, but Lutheranism is Judaism's Biblical Conclusion. It is also political, because I am a Donald Trump-Rand Paul-Russ Holly-Rush Limbaugh Republican. The Republican Party is America's largest and strongest political, which is Pro-Israel. I have to support Israel, because 1. I am a Jew, 2. Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, and 3. I am a Republican. I do not know, if Joe Biden is personally Anti-Semitic or not. Getting back to Joe Biden's mental health and him having dementia, Joe Biden may not know, whether he is Anti-Semitic or not. However, a lot of Democrats today are Anti-Semitic, because they are either Muslims and/or they are Socialists/Communists. Many Jews own businesses and Socialists and Communists do not want businesses to be privately owned, rather they want the government to come in and run everything. Muslims are mad, because Yahweh chose Jacob, who is the ancestor of the Jews, and not Ishmael, who is the ancestor of the Muslims, to own and rule over the Promised Land of Israel.
- Donald Trump has a proven track record of supporting Jews. Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, married a Jewish man called Jared Kushner. Ivanka Trump is a practicing Jew like her husband Jared Kushner. Donald Trump prefers to have Jews counting his money and he wants them to help him to make even more money. Donald Trump supports the State of Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Donald Trump acknowledges Jerusalem as Israel's capital city and he moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Yahweh promises in the Old Testament, that He will bless everyone, who blesses Israel, and curse everyone, who curses Israel.
I know, this blog post is really long, but let us read the Holy Gospel of St. John Chapter 3:1-21, since it is relevant:
"3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, 'Rabbi, we know, that Thou art a Teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles, that Thou doest, except God be with Him.' 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.' 4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, 'How can a man be born, when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?' 5 Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. 6 That, which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that, which is born of the Spirit, is spirit. 7 Marvel not, that I said unto thee, 'Ye must be born again.' 8 The wind bloweth, where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell, whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is everyone, that is born of the Spirit.' 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, 'How can these things be?'
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak, that we do know, and testify, that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of Heavenly Things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to Heaven, but He That came down from Heaven, even the Son of Man Which is in Heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up: 15 That, whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have Eternal Life. 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that, whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have Everlasting Life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He, that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he, that believeth not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (KJV 1611).

My Green Irish Angel Statues: My Green Irish Angel Statues are really cute! They are only $1 each and they make great gifts. I have three kinds: 1. Cross-Bearing Angels, 2. Praying Angels, and 3. Angels Holding Butterflies. I like the Cross-Bearing Angels the best, because they are carrying Crosses. Each one bearing a Cross reminds us, that Jesus died on the True Cross to save every single person from death, Hell, Satan, Satan's Demons, Original Sin from Adam and Eve, and their personal sins.
