Christmas Letter 2021: Part 1--Introduction

Happy Christmas Family, Friends, and Readers!

Introduction Reflections: I normally hand write 50 to 100 Christmas cards every year, however, this year is different. If have previously received a Christmas card from me in the past, then you will sadly not be receiving a Christmas card from me this year. This is both good and bad at the same time. It is good, because I can get really deep and personal with you. It is bad, because you will not see a Christmas card from me sitting among your other Christmas cards. I decided to write a Christmas Letter instead of writing Christmas cards by hand, because I am so far behind in my work, that it is a little embarrassing. Granted I do not believe, that this is any of my fault. In this letter, I will state a lot of facts about my life, which some of you know and which some of you do not know, I will discuss Christmas, Theology, politics, and the Corona Virus situation. I want to be 100% honest and authentic with you. “Hear me out!” I know, that a lot of Christmas Letters tend to be a lot of bragging about a person and his or her accomplishments. However, I just want to state the facts and share with you thoughts about the topics, which I mentioned. I hope, that you will find this letter interesting and that you will not get upset any possible way. My goal is not to upset you, rather my goal is to connect to you on a deeper and more meaningful level. Plus, I know, that many of you are sincerely curious about what I have been up to, since we last saw each other, and I know, that there is not always time for me to sit down with you to have a personal conversation.

Let us read Isaiah Chapter 9:1-8:

"9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first He lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. The people, that walked in darkness, have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before Thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice, when they divide the spoil. For Thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His Shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His Government and Peace there shall be no end, upon the Throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth even for ever. The Zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. The LORD sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel" (KJV 1611).

My Green Irish Angel Statues: My Green Irish Angel Statues are really cute! They are only $1 each and they make great gifts. I have three kinds: 1. Cross-Bearing Angels, 2. Praying Angels, and 3. Angels Holding Butterflies. I like the Cross-Bearing Angels the best, because they are carrying Crosses. Each one bearing a Cross reminds us, that Jesus died on the True Cross to save every single person from death, Hell, Satan, Satan's Demons, Original Sin from Adam and Eve, and their personal sins. They're available exclusively at The Menagerie behind Beer Barrel in the St. Marys Business Complex in St. Marys, Ohio.

Stores Carrying My Books:  My books, which I’ve written and published, are also available at the following stores: Brunner News Agency on Flanders Avenue in Lima, Ohio, Jen’s Furniture and Collectibles (JFC) on High Street in St. Marys, Ohio, The Menagerie at 1178 Indiana Avenue behind Beer Barrel in the St. Marys Business Complex in St. Marys, Ohio, Readmore Hallmark Stores out at Eastgate Plaza and on Elm Street in Lima, Ohio, and in the Shop section of my website ohioirishlutheranpress.com .
