2021 Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show Vendor List 3

Happy Reformation Day and Autumn Greetings!

Vaughnsville and Reformation Reflections: The Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show is a yearly event held at the Vaughnsville Community Center on State Route 12 aka Findlay Street in Vaughnsville, Ohio, it is held on the Last Saturday of October from 11 AM to 5 PM every year, and it is associated with the Lutheran celebration of Reformation Day, which is October 31th. Granted there is NO religious requirement to be a vendor or a shopper at the Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show. All are welcome to attend as shoppers and vendors just have to fill-out an entry form and pay their rent for tables and/or booths by the deadline on Sunday October 24, 2021 at 11:55 PM. Vendors' merchandise is to be clean, legal, and family-friendly. The Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show is hosted by me, James W. O'Flannery, and I am an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Lima, Ohio.

Why do I host the Vaughnsville Craft and Vendor Show on the Last Saturday of October from 11 AM to 5 PM? There are two major reasons: 1. Religious: It is to honor Martin Luther and his steadfast devotion to Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, 2. Practical: The Ottoville Craft Show is the First Saturday of November every year, so I want people to come to Vaughnsville on the Last Saturday of October and then I want people to come to Ottoville on the First Saturday in November, and 3. Good Time Slot: 11 AM to 5 PM is a good time slot, because it gives shoppers an opportunity to sleep in or do other things before my show. Martin Luther was both a Roman Catholic priest and a professor of Christian Theology in Wittenberg, Germany during the Renaissance and he wanted to reform The Roman Catholic Church by making it more Biblical and more Gospel oriented. Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany thus founding a teaching movement within Roman Catholicism, which he called "Evangelical Catholicism." Evangelical Catholicism is an extremely Gospel oriented version of Catholicism. However, Pope Leo X excommunicated Luther, so Evangelical Catholicism became Lutheranism and a new Christian Tradition was born. Luther took his doctrine right out of The Holy Bible, so he affirmed the Holy Trinity, the Virgin Birth, Young Earth Creationism, Literal Six-Day Creationism, Salvation by Faith Alone and Grace Alone, Salvation delivered in Holy Baptism, and the Literal Presence of Jesus Messiah in the Bread and Wine of Holy Communion. I stand with Luther on these Biblical Truths and I am willing to die for the Holy Trinity and my Faith in Them expressed in these Biblical Doctrines. Jesus died to save you and me from all of your sins and my sins, Satan, Satan's demons, death, Hell, and Original Sin from Adam Eve. Salvation, which Jesus won on the True Cross for every single person, is freely given in Holy Baptism. In good times and bad times, Christians need to cling to the Cross of Christ in one hand and Holy Baptism in the other.

Let us read Romans Chapter 5:

"5:1 Therefore being justified by Faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By Whom also we have access by Faith into this Grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in Hope of the Glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, Which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the Death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have now received the Atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed, when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of Him, That was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the Grace of God, and the Gift by Grace, which is by One Man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as it was by one, that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the Free Gift is of many offences unto Justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they, which receive abundance of Grace and of the Gift of Righteousness, shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the Righteousness of One the Free Gift came upon all men unto Justification of Life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the Obedience of One shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the Law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, Grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might Grace reign through Righteousness unto Eternal Life by Jesus Christ our Lord" (KJV 1611).

Angels Holding Butterflies. I like the Cross-Bearing Angels the best, because they are carrying Crosses. Each one bearing a Cross reminds us, that Jesus died on the True Cross to save every single person from death, Hell, Satan, Satan's Demons, Original Sin from Adam and Eve, and their personal sins. They're available exclusively at The Menagerie behind Beer Barrel in the St. Marys Business Complex in St. Marys, Ohio.
